Queering Reality will shove several planes of existence into a blackbox theater in the Lower East Side. Intersectional queer artists will show their recent works of mixed reality, installations, performances, & other emerging media technology. Finding home in Wow Cafe Theater, the oldest still active theater collective for women, & other trans folx, the event will be entirely queer run.Their will be a panel discussion both days discussing representation & responsibility in STEM, art, design, & where they overlap.Drinks & artist's work will be for sale. Donations to the theater will be appreciated & can be paid at the door or at the bar. Tickets are by donation, & no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
