FREE!!  Have guidance getting started with electronics using Raspberry Pi Zero, a platform for making interactive electronics projects. With literacy of Raspberry Pi Zero, it enables one to use sensors, motors, LEDs and a range of devices to create. Raspberry Pi represents on of the best starting points for working with code. We will be giving a hands-on introduction where you will be able to assemble and program your own electronics projects. In this 90-minute workshop, we will talk about the considerations involved in creating an electronics project, how basic prototyping can be done with Raspberry Pi using Python programming language and advice for more advanced projects.

Please bring a laptop running Windows or MacOS to connect to the Raspberry Pi Zero kit.

It is with a heavy heart that we dedicate this workshop to Ms. Aryuna Dashidorzhina, who passed away unexpectedly this April.  Aryuna was a dedicated creative technologist, artist and educator; a passionate supporter of women in technology; and originally scheduled to lead this workshop.  We will miss Aryuna's brains and creative spark in our community and at the Arts Hub.  May all those who knew her be comforted knowing that we plan to carry on her life's work at Creative Tech Week.
